Katy Mamen is a senior partner with Ag Innovations who focuses is on collaborative policy change and systems thinking in the water, food, and agriculture arenas.
Until 2014, Katy was Director of Programs at Ag Innovations, where she managed state-level multi-stakeholder roundtables focused on water, agriculture and healthy food systems, as well as the 9-county Food Systems Alliance Network.
Prior to joining Ag Innovations, Katy launched and managed the California Agricultural Water Stewardship Initiative, directed the US Local Food Program at the International Society for Ecology and Culture, and was a fellow of the Oakland Institute. She has consulted for a wide range of nonKprofit organizations, municipalities, and educational institutions on sustainable food and agriculture. She holds an MS from Schumacher College in the UK with a focus on managing complexity, where her research focused on traditional agriculture in Devon, UK.
